Does anyone know how much it costs for an ambulence ride?

I don't but I will tell you when we get the bill!!! So Friday the 1st I was holding Abby and being inspired by the Olympics, she decided to dismount from my arms. Well her landing was not a perfect 10! She fell and broke her leg! You couldn't tell just by looking at her so I held her and tried to get her to sleep, thinking she was just shocked. After awhile that didn't work so I called my doctor and brought her in. They couldn't tell if anything was wrong but poor Abby kept on crying. SO along comes the ambulence and brought Abby and I to primary children's for x-rays. Adam was at his friend's house in bountiful so he just met us up there. It took forever... after like a million x-rays we finally found a break on her left femur. We were so lucky to have my dad and brother come up to the hospital to help give Abby a blessing. Let me tell you, it was a sight for sore eyes seeing my dad and brother come into the hospital room dressed in their shirts and ties to give her a blessing! I am so grateful to have the priesthood in my life and in my daughter's! So Adam, my dad, and my brother Chris gave her a blessing. Soon after Adam's parents came up too. What a night, that finally ended around midnight. Thanks to my mom too for spending the night with us watching Abby so Adam and I could get some sleep! SO she is in her splint now and tomorrow she goes in for her cast. (I am hoping for a pink one!) Then she will wear that for around 6 weeks or so. She is doing great though and is moving around like the cast isn't even there! Thanks to everyone who has been so supportive through this.

Under Construction

Please cut me some slack while I try and update my blog. I have royally messed it up. Sorry about the background!

Surprise...

More cute pictures of Abby. I took these today of her. She is now ten months old. I can't believe how fast she has grown. She is so funny and thinks everything is funny too! She is always smiling and laughing. What a sweetheart she is. The one in her bouncy chair makes me laugh because she literally jumps on her toes! She hardly ever jumps flat-footed.

more Happy 4th of July pictures

Abby LOVED the fireworks... it was also WAY past her bedtime so she was kind of comatose! Here is Grandpa handing out fireworks to all the grandkids.

**FIREWORKS**

***Happy 4th of July***

Here are some fun pictures from our 4th of July. We had the classic 4th celebration. We started with our Ward breakfast and rocket launch (no pictures... sorry). Next we saw my family for a few hours and then we headed to Richard and Joey's for a family bbq with fireworks. It was so much fun!

This is Abby with her cousin Addy! They are about three weeks apart!

Shoes are not for wearing, they are for EATING...

...or so Abby thinks. This is her on the 4th of July and her shoes had seriously been on about ten seconds and that was the end of that!

Catch up time!

I know its been a really long time since I posted last. With Adam home I have not been able to touch the computer since he is frantically working on his lesson plans. Now that he is a teacher, summers go by so fast. Speaking of teachers... Adam is official now! We got his license in the mail the other day. I just want him to know how proud I am of him and all his hard work! Anyway, here are some fun pictures!

Abby and Daddy just hangin out

Abby was doing this randomly one day and I though it was hilarious! She does the most random things sometimes.

Here she is, loving her play pen. I love this little purple dress on her!

Deep thoughts on a Saturday night...

So I know I haven't put up a post in a long time and I have a TON to blog about, but that will come later. Right now I am sitting and working on my young women lesson for tomorrow and I came across an awesome quote. I hope that you don't think I am depressed but with how crazy the world is today I thought this quote by Pres. Ezra Taft Benson was inspiring. He was talking about endurance and said this:

"There are times when you simply have to righteously hang on and outlast the devil until his depressive spirit leaves you."
I am so grateful for the gospel in my life and for awesome quotes like this one to help me through hard times.
