Camel in the Tent!!

Has anyone heard the story of the guy with a camel and he is in a tent? Its one of those that they tell you in Young Womens at Church. Well here is it briefly... a guy is in the desert with his camel and the guy puts up his tent and is in it becuase there is a really bad wind storm. Well the camel sticks his nose in and complains that it is so cold and windy, can he just put his nose in? So they guys says okay. Well the story goes on and before you know it the guy is out in the wind and the camel is in the tent. Typically this refers to the devil and his evil tactics.
Well for our house this refers to Abby!! She is so funny, she has to be at the very center of everything. Like when Adam is on his laptop she has to be right in the center of his lap right in front of the laptop, not to the side watching, right in the middle. She does the same thing as the camel, first her hands. Then she trys to peer with her head. Next she will try and put her foot over, etc until finally she is right in your lap. She does this when I try and put my make up on too! She is so funny!

Digital scrapbooking is so much fun! I just want to give a shout out and thanks to Malia and Kara for helping me learn about this wonderful new world we call Digital! Happy scrapping :o)

Time to explain...

So the picture of Adam, Abby and me in my last post needs some explaining. The "hat" Adam has on is not just a hot new trend! You see back in the day when the Brough kids used to put on their little Christmas nativity scene, Adam always ended up being the lamb. He said that he used to enjoy that part because he could just run around and make funny animal noises. SO at our Brough Christmas party this year we did a little Christmas nativity scene and everyone was laughing about how Adam was always the lamb. Well, lo and behold Adam's brother just happened to have the "hat" Adam used to wear in his basement. For old times sake and for a good laugh Adam wore his special "hat". I will have to check with Adam's mom to see if she has a picture of little Adam in his lamby hat!

Happy 2009!

Well we have started out the new year with a bang... we all have had the flu! Good thing we all got our flu shots too! Luckily we weren't sick for Christmas though. Our Christmas was great and we loved all the snow. We enjoyed some presents, lots of food, family and fun! Then for the New Year we celebrated with saltines and Sprite. We hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas in NINE days... where has the time gone?

Wow, I can't believe its already December 16th! Here is a picture of Adam, Abby and me on Thanksgiving. We were lucky to get two days of Thanksgiving... Wednesday with Adam's family (snap, snap... get it, the song of the Adam's family? ha ha) and then Thursday with the extended Terry clan. Nothing like two days of awesome food!



The other day I was doing dishes and Abby really wanted to see what was going on so I let her sit by me on the counter. Well before you know it she was sitting in the sink watching me and then I just gave in and she had bath time in the sink! It ended up taking me like two hours to do dishes but it was sure fun!

Isn't it funny how some people are totally content leaving their blogs looking the same all the time and then you have multiple personality people like me who want a new look every day? Who can resist these cute backgrounds?
