Surprise...
More cute pictures of Abby. I took these today of her. She is now ten months old. I can't believe how fast she has grown. She is so funny and thinks everything is funny too! She is always smiling and laughing. What a sweetheart she is. The one in her bouncy chair makes me laugh because she literally jumps on her toes! She hardly ever jumps flat-footed.
***Happy 4th of July***
Here are some fun pictures from our 4th of July. We had the classic 4th celebration. We started with our Ward breakfast and rocket launch (no pictures... sorry). Next we saw my family for a few hours and then we headed to Richard and Joey's for a family bbq with fireworks. It was so much fun!

...or so Abby thinks. This is her on the 4th of July and her shoes had seriously been on about ten seconds and that was the end of that!

I know its been a really long time since I posted last. With Adam home I have not been able to touch the computer since he is frantically working on his lesson plans. Now that he is a teacher, summers go by so fast. Speaking of teachers... Adam is official now! We got his license in the mail the other day. I just want him to know how proud I am of him and all his hard work! Anyway, here are some fun pictures!

Deep thoughts on a Saturday night...
So I know I haven't put up a post in a long time and I have a TON to blog about, but that will come later. Right now I am sitting and working on my young women lesson for tomorrow and I came across an awesome quote. I hope that you don't think I am depressed but with how crazy the world is today I thought this quote by Pres. Ezra Taft Benson was inspiring. He was talking about endurance and said this:
"There are times when you simply have to righteously hang on and outlast the devil until his depressive spirit leaves you."
I am so grateful for the gospel in my life and for awesome quotes like this one to help me through hard times.

Birthday, Ear infection, Master's class #1 and Sleep deprived!
That just about sums up the day yesterday. It all began at about 2 AM when Abby woke up freaking out! We got her to calm down with a bottle and finally went back to sleep. Later that morning we went to Abby's 9 month check up and lo and behold she has an ear infection! We found this out after they stabbed her heel to check her blood count. Poor thing! While all of this was happening, Adam was sitting in a classroom for his first class in his Master's program. (A very exciting 7 hours for him!) The rest of the day was chaos but we ended it well with cake and ice cream with the Brough's for my birthday. These pictures are of Abby after her nap. Even when she is sick she is so sweet!

Dumb Blogger alert...
So I have done something weird and am not sure what. When I do my cute background with cute pictures and stuff my blog won't allow people to leave comments. So I have to resort back to the plain one. Has anyone had this problem or know what I am doing wrong? All the settings are set to allow comments but they still won't show up. I am so confused! Please help me if you can!
